DESCRIPTION:SPA is honored to host Chief Counsel Corina Almeida. Ms. Almeida serves as Chief Counsel for the Denver Area of Responsibility of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) within the Department of Homeland Security. In her capacity as Chief Counsel\, Ms. Almeida serves as the principal legal advisor and consultant to the ICD Special Agent in Charge and ICE Field Office Directors in all legal matters relation to ICE activities in five states. She also directs and supervises the work and prosecution efforts of all ICE attorneys assigned to the Denver Area of Responsibility. Ms. Almeida will be providing an overview and answering questions on the Department of Homeland Security\, Immigration Customs Enforcement\, and the DHS Office of Principal Legal Advisor.\n \nThe Denver Office\,Department of Homeland Security\, has hired two SPA Criminal Justice students in the last year!
